In 2018 I participated in a very cool project I saw in the @guardian. The project @mixedracefaces (thank you for creating this!) gives people who are mixed a platform to share their experiences and perspectives. It has created a community where people can share these personal stories with eachother which gives a sense of recognition. Moreover it offers a very simple, but effective, way for those who are not mixed into the very broad and diverse experiences of being mixed. Which is why I decided to share my experience of being mixed. You can read it at www.micedracefaces.com #Repost from @mixedracefaces #mixed #netherlands #photography

On my way to a restaurant (@abeautifulmessamsterdam) which helps people who have fled their countries to a paid job via working at the restaurant and guidance, i came across this sticker. If you visit #amsterdam you should definetly go there. Its located in the laundryroom of the, now closed, infamous bijlmerbajes (bijlmer jail). #visualculture #urbananthropology #amsterdam #bijlmer #makeracistsafraidagain #stickerart #stickers #bijlmerbajes #racism
